Lady Luck

A collaboration between Vanessa Nguyen and Australian boutique Incu saw a window installation to celebrate the Lunar New Year.

Drawing inspiration from her own Asian heritage, Vanessa created a series of 8 pieces following the phases of the moon as it transforms throughout the lunar calendar.

Traditional Chinese culture says the moon is a carrier of human emotion: a symbol of gentleness and brightness. The Lunar New Year welcomes the New Moon, 1 of 8 lunar phases.

Vanessa's works bring each moon to life, depicted as 8 radiant women.
